What CQC reported

The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People’s experience

As part of our assessment, we reviewed feedback from people using the service to understand their views and experiences. This included direct feedback from patients and information from the GP Patient Survey. Overall, people spoke very positively about the quality of care and treatment they received. Patients described timely access to services, particularly when hospital appointments were required, noting these were arranged quickly and results were communicated without delay. People highlighted that clinicians listened carefully to their concerns and made every effort to ensure they were referred promptly to appropriate specialists when needed. Feedback also reflected strong levels of trust and confidence in healthcare professionals. This was supported by data from the 2025 GP Patient Survey, where 95% of respondents reported confidence and trust in the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to. Patients expressed satisfaction with the practice overall, with some comparing it favourably to other surgeries. Comments indicated a high level of appreciation for the service provided and no significant concerns were raised. There is an active Patient Participation Group (PPG), and members reported being kept well informed about developments, including plans to update the surgery. They described positive engagement with practice leaders and felt their input was valued, with ongoing communication helping to maintain transparency. In summary, feedback and survey data demonstrate that people using the service are highly satisfied, feel listened to, and have confidence in the care provided.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
