People’s experience
People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results, including from the National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people were satisfied with services. For some aspects, people were significantly more satisfied than people who were patients at other practices. 84% said that their experience of contacting their GP practice was good (above the national average of 70%). 76% said that it was easy to get through to the contact their GP practice on the phone (significantly above the national average of 53%). 92% of people who responded to the NHS Friends and Family Test NHS Friends and Family Test in 2025 said that they would be likely or likely to recommend the practice. The practice received an average of 195 responses a month. We saw similar responses for January and February 2026. For this assessment we received feedback from 174 people, of which 162 were wholly positive about the care they received. The practice looked after older people at 2nursing/residential homes. The practice had surveyed staff in different roles to understand how care could be improved. The survey found 100% satisfaction with the accessibility and responsiveness of GPs. The practice created an action plan to address the area where there was not complete satisfaction (prescribing processes). There was an active patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. A representative described how managers worked with the group to seek feedback and discuss potential improvements.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
