People’s experience

People we spoke with were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results from the National GP Patient Survey showed that 81% of people reported that the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to was good at listening to them during their last appointment compared to 87% nationally. Eighty-six percent of people reported their needs were met during their last appointment compared to 90% nationally. The practice was performing below average on the survey for people’s experience of access. For example, 51% described their experience of contacting their GP practice as good compared to 70% nationally. However, the service had improved on this indicator over the previous year.
