The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People’s experience

As part of our assessment, we reviewed feedback from people who used the practice to understand their views and experience. This included feedback received by CQC and data from the latest National GP Patient Survey. The practice collected other feedback via their social media page, google reviews, thank you cards and emails. People were very positive about the quality of their care and treatment. They described how staff treated them with kindness and compassion and respected their privacy. Results of the National GP Patient Survey (January to March 2026) showed people were very satisfied with the service, with 82% of people responding positively to their overall experience at the practice (the national average was 77%). There was an active patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views and experiences of people using the service. PPG representatives told us that leaders listened to feedback and made positive changes as a result. For example, an annual health check was introduced for patients aged over 65 who did not have a long-term condition. The PPG met quarterly, providing regular opportunities for discussion and engagement. Leaders also ensured that members were kept fully informed about staff changes, recruitment activity, and staff training, helping to maintain open communication and strong patient involvement in the development of the practice.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
