The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People’s experience

As part of our inspection, we reviewed feedback from patients who used the practice to understand their views and experience of the practice. This included speaking with patients using the practice at the time of our inspection and reviewing other feedback available to us. Patients were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. We received 119 feedback on care forms from patients. 91 of these were extremely positive, 2 gave mixed feedback and 26 were negative. Most concerns related to the appointment booking process. Positive comments described how staff treated them with kindness and compassion and respected their privacy. This was mirrored in the results of recent surveys, including family and friends feedback and the 2026 National GP Patient Survey, which showed most patients were satisfied. There was a very active patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of patients using the practice. The PPG was highly active and maintained regular engagement with both the practice and the wider patient population. Formal quarterly meetings were held with the Managing GP Partner and Care Navigation Team Manager, supplemented by informal patient-led meetings between sessions to review progress, discuss patient feedback and monitor actions.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
