What CQC reported

The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People’s experience

As part of our assessment, we reviewed feedback from people who used the practice to understand their views and experience. This included feedback received by CQC, data from the National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family test. People spoke very positively about the quality of care and treatment they received. They consistently described staff as kind, compassionate, and respectful, and told us their privacy and dignity were maintained. Results from the National GP Patient Survey (January to March 2026) demonstrated good levels of patient satisfaction. Overall, 74% of respondents reported a positive experience of the practice, compared with the slightly higher national average of 76%. Feedback from the NHS Friends and Family Test also reflected very positive patient experiences. In the 3 months preceding the assessment, the practice achieved consistently high results, with 94% of respondents rating the provider as good or very good in April, increasing to 98% in May and 100% in June. These results provided further evidence that people were satisfied with the care and support they received from the practice. The practice did not have an active Patient Participation Group (PPG), despite ongoing efforts to encourage patients to become involved. However, the practice sought feedback from patients through a variety of alternative methods to ensure their views continued to inform practice development. The practice maintained strong links with the local monthly Parish magazine, which was used to publish practice updates, including monthly Did Not Attend (DNA) figures and vaccination campaigns. This helped ensure that patients with limited or no access to technology remained informed about practice initiatives and services. Regular information and updates for patients and carers were also shared through the practice's social media channels. Patient feedback was gathered through multiple routes, including comments received via social media, email correspondence, and discussions with practice staff during routine interactions. These approaches enabled the practice to obtain feedback from a broad and diverse range of patients. In addition to direct feedback, the practice gathered patient views through their monthly patient survey. Comments, themes, and trends identified from the survey were reviewed and used to inform practice improvements and enhance patient care.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
