What CQC reported

The service is performing badly and we've taken action against the person or organisation that runs it.

People’s experience

People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment from nursing staff. People told us some clinicians were rude and dismissive. People also told us it was difficult to get an appointment. Recent survey results, including from the National GP Patient Survey told us 64% of patients who responded were satisfied with services. There was an active patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. Representatives from the PPG described a well-established group, they felt listened to by non-clinical leaders, however felt disappointed in the direction the surgery had moved over the last 12 months.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
