People’s experience

People had mixed reviews about this provider. Feedback from people was positive about the quality of their care and treatment however, people said they struggled to access the practice using their phone or website. The most recent published National GP survey at the time of our assessment showed 58% of respondents describe their overall experience of this practice as good which is below local and national average. The practice had a Patient Participation Group (PPG); however, membership numbers were low and previous attempts to increase participation had not been successful. Despite this, the practice provided evidence of recent engagement, including a meeting held with the chair. The practice had taken steps to rebuild the group and had started work to identify and engage patients through its registration processes.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
