People’s experience
As part of the assessment, we reviewed the most recent National GP Patient Survey for 2025, NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) and spoke to a representative of the Patent participant group (PPG). The National GP Patient Survey for 2025 showed that 83% of patients felt their needs were met during their last general practice appointment compared to the national average of 90%, and 87% had confidence and trust in the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to, which was slightly lower than the national average of 92%. We also saw that 56% of people would describe their overall experience of the GP practice as good, the national average for this is 75%. Friends and Family test (FFT) results between January 2025 and September 2025, showed an average of 64% of patient rated the service as good or very good. During this assessment we spoke with a representative from the Patient Participation Group (PPG), they described how their views were listened to and when possible, acted on by management.
