People’s experience
As part of the assessment, we reviewed the most recent National GP Patient Survey for 2025, NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT), the practice’s own survey, and asked the practice to invite patients to share their experience of the service via the Give feedback on Care section on the Care Quality Commission’s website. The National GP Patient Survey for 2025showed that 94% of patients felt their needs were met during their last general practice appointment, compared to the national average of 90%, and 94% had confidence and trust in the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to, which was higher than the national average of 93%. We also saw that 74% of people would describe their overall experience of the GP practice as good, the national average for this is 75%. The practice provided additional survey data collected separately from the NHS FFT and the GP Patient Survey. The practice received 375 patient responses, and the results showed that 93.1% of patients were offered an appointment when they last contacted the practice. It also showed that 54.1% of these patients preferred to book appointments via the phone. The survey highlighted that staff were helpful and empathetic, with 95.4% of patients describing reception staff as good or very good. FFT results between October 2025 and March 2026 showed that feedback consistently reflected a positive experience, with 84% of responses rating the service as “very good.” Feedback included how polite the staff were and how they provided an excellent service. There was an active patient participation group (PPG) that represented the views of service users. Representatives from the PPG described how leaders listened to concerns raised.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
