The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People’s experience

Feedback from patients and stakeholders was positive, with the majority describing staff as caring, attentive and responsive to their needs. We reviewed a variety of information from significant events and complaints submitted by the practice, complaints and feedback sent to CQC prior to and during the assessment and inhouse practice survey results. We also reviewed patient feedback from the 2025 National Patient GP survey and data submitted by the provider.People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results, including from the National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people were satisfied with services. There was an active patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. Representatives from the PPG described how managers made positive changes because of feedback. A total of 242 responses were received by CQC prior to the assessment, of which 228 were positive and only 14 were negative, indicating a consistently high level of patient satisfaction with the service. A small number of patients raised concerns regarding delays in referrals, lack of continuity of care and limited proactive communication of test results. While these themes presented potential risks to timely care and equitable access, particularly for patients without digital access, they were reported by a minority of respondents and did not reflect the overall experience of most patients using the service. Overall, feedback demonstrates strong patient confidence in the practice, with high satisfaction levels, although some improvements were needed in care coordination and follow-up processes.
