The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People’s experience

People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results, including from the National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people had mixed views about how satisfied they were with services.Patients feedback that complaints were not always acknowledged or dealt with in a timely way.There was an active patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. Representatives from the PPG described how managers made positive changes because of feedback, such as implementing better signage at one of the branches. We received 270 patients experience 164 were positive themes including clinicians being kind, caring, listening. Ninety-four were negative with themes including issues around access, delays with referrals/test results, and communication/staff attitude, and prescriptions.
