People’s experience

The provider encouraged and used feedback from people who used the service to make improvements. Feedback we reviewed showed that patient experience of the service was positive. The results of the National GP Patient Survey showed the practice received similar to local and national average scores for patient satisfaction. The results showed that patients felt positive about their overall experience of the service; patients felt listened to, treated with care and concern, involved in decisions about their care and treatment, and had confidence and trust in the healthcare professionals. Recent results from the NHS Friends and Family Test also showed that people were positive about their experience of the service. There was an active PPG who represented the views of people using the service. Representatives from the PPG told us that the provider listened and made changes in response to their feedback and they were highly satisfied with the service provided. People who used the service were invited to provide feedback directly to CQC. Responses we received were positive with regards to all aspects of the service. People told us they could access appointments easily and they were complimentary about staff in all roles.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
