People’s experience
Two weeks before our inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 13 patients. On the day of our inspection, we spoke with and saw patient feedback from 1 further patient. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Comments included: “All the work I have had done has been expert and professional.” “Every member of staff, from the reception team through to [the dentist] himself, demonstrates a genuine commitment to patient care and wellbeing... I would highly recommend the practice to others and believe it is an excellent example of patient-focused healthcare.” “...the standard of care we receive is consistently exceptional. Their professionalism shows in every detail - from timely appointment reminders and a smooth, courteous check‑in process to clear, high‑quality advice and open, reassuring conversations about any dental concerns.” “I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for great quality of care.” Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. “The practice is welcoming, professional, efficient, and always maintains a clean and comfortable environment.” “The practice itself is spotless, modern, and well-organized, and we’ve never experienced long waiting times.” Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. “If an emergency appointment is asked for it is met almost immediately.” Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. “I’ve never felt that [the dentist] was pushing me to take unnecessary treatments.” Patients said when they were prescribed medicines, sufficient information was given. Patients told us that they were supported to maintain their oral health and were provided with appropriate information and resources. The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.
