People’s experience
On the day of our visit, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 25 patients. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Comments included, “Been coming here for 17 years. Always have good service, helpful and friendly. Dental treatment very good.” “Girls are very helpful and friendly. Always happy to see you.” “The thing that I really like about the reception is the fact that they give gentle reminders about the forthcoming appointments, as at my age, I have a tendency to forget. Always courteous and accommodating. Great team you have there.” “I have always received a great service from The Arno Dental Practice, Staff on reception are professional and so too are the dental nurses and dentists. I appreciate the service I receive.” “Feel very lucky to be a patient at Arno Dental Practice. Always treated with respect and friendliness…” “Never has any problems with dentist. Always friendly and helpful.” “Brilliant dental practice. Me and my daughter have been with Arno Dental Practice many years. Dentist is always professional, friendly and efficient. My daughter has had lots of issues with her teeth and is really scared of the dentist, and all the staff have been amazing and patient with her. Thank you.” “Very good service at all times.” “Very satisfied. Lovely staff.” “Always helpful and friendly, generally pain free and an overall positive experience.” “Excellent practice, lovely staff, very welcoming, highly recommend 100%.” “The Arno Dental Practice is very welcoming and informative. The staff are always happy to help.” Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. “…I also find if I need an emergency appointment I am fitted in as soon as possible. I also appreciate the appointment reminders I am sent.” “I find the practice very well organised. The staff are very professional and helpful. If you have any issues, they will always accommodate you. I have been a patient for many years and still find everyone so kind.” Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. “A year ago, you wouldn’t see me near a dentist, but after meeting [my dentist] she instantly made me feel at ease. Everything about the practice is amazing. The girls on reception are always pleasant too.” Patients said when they were prescribed medicines, sufficient information was given. Patients told us that they were supported to maintain their oral health and were provided with appropriate information and resources. The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.
