People’s experience
Two weeks before our on-site assessment, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 15 patients. On the day of our assessment, we spoke with and saw patient feedback from a further 14 patients. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Comments included, “Overall, I highly recommend Toothshine to anyone looking for an exceptional dentist. Their combination of expertise, compassion and patient-centred care is truly remarkable. I'm grateful to have found such a fantastic dental practice and look forward to my future visits!” and “The number of 'Thankyou' cards in reception, from patients, gives a good indication that I am not alone in my elevated view of the practice. I remain confident that Toothshine Dental practice will continue to meet my dental needs in the future and am more than happy to travel the 200 mile round trip to receive the best care available. I never hesitate to wholeheartedly recommend the practice”. Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. They told us they were able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and that they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed.
Patients said they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care.
When they were prescribed medicines, patients felt that sufficient information was given.
Patients also felt they were supported to maintain their oral health and were provided with appropriate information and resources.
The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
