What CQC reported

The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People’s experience

As part of our assessment, we reviewed feedback from people who used the service to understand their views and experience. People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. They described how staff treated them with kindness and compassion and respected their privacy. This was mirrored in the results of recent surveys, including the 2025 National GP Patient Survey, which showed most people were satisfied. For example, 76% stated they had a very or fairly good overall experience which was higher than local and national averages. The 2025 National GP Patient Survey results had 93 responses. Recent survey results from the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people were satisfied with services. The FFT results from April 2026 (130 responses) showed generally positive feedback about people’s experience, with most patients rating the service as very good (95) or good (27). Comments highlighted good customer service experience and helpful and supportive staff. There was an active patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. The practice held regular patient participation group (PPG) meetings, where peoples feedback was responded to and changes discussed. We spoke with a representative from the PPG who described how managers made positive changes because of feedback.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
