What CQC reported

The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People’s experience

As part of our assessment, feedback from people who used the practice was reviewed to understand their views and experiences of the practice. This included feedback obtained from people who used the practice at the time of the assessment with other feedback available to the assessment team. People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. They described how staff treated them with kindness and compassion and respected their privacy. This was mirrored in the results of recent surveys, including the 2026 National GP Patient Survey, which showed most people were satisfied. The practice engaged with patients through specific patient focus groups, the aim of this was to allow the practice to really listen and understand people’s experiences. Leaders told us that rather than relying on a standing committee, patient engagement was undertaken through a range of channels designed to reach a broader range of patients. Evidence provided indicated that patients were engaged through focused groups on specific topics and service areas, patient testers and surveys. Feedback from Friends and Family Test responses and monthly Google reviews was reviewed by practice staff and used to support practice improvements. Further evidence of patient engagement was demonstrated through annual community events and the use of patient testers to trial and help improve services.Evidence showed patients could raise topics for discussion through several channels, which included complaints, direct submissions, practice website and these were used to inform focus group agendas. While the practice did not operate a formal Patient Participation Group, evidence demonstrated that patients were able to identify priorities and influence discussion topics through the practice's engagement arrangements.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
