People’s experience
Prior to our inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 26 patients who completed paper feedback forms before and on the inspection day. On the day of our inspection, we saw patient feedback from a further 39 patients, who had left online reviews within the last 4 weeks. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Comments included: “Dental care at this surgery has always been first class. There is a professional welcoming warmth in the reception area and [my dentist] has always explained the reasons for all of my treatment and their costs and acted professional. The hygienists have similarly been excellent. I have recommended this surgery to friends.” “Always find a welcoming smile when I arrive. All staff are pleasant, helpful and professional.” “Always had a great experience, involved in my treatment and very happy with the service I receive.” Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. “The practice is always spotless and has a calm but friendly atmosphere.” Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. “I needed to have a lot of treatment and feel very involved in this process including information about the cost. An excellent practice”. Patients said when they were prescribed medicines, sufficient information was given. Patients told us that they were supported to maintain their oral health and were provided with appropriate information and resources. The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
