People’s experience

As part of this assessment, we spoke with several people who attended the practice regarding their satisfaction of the practice. We received mixed reviews from people.

We also reviewed the National GP Patient Survey results and a patient survey carried out by the practice. The National GP Patient Survey results showed the practice scored mostly below local and national averages. 68% of respondents described their overall experience of this GP practice as good, compared to a local and national average of 74%. The practice had reviewed and responded to the National GP Patient Survey data and had taken action to make improvements.

We did not see any evidence of suggestions, comments or NHS Friends and Family Test survey responses collected from registered patients. At the time of our assessment the practice did not have a Patient Participation Group.

We reviewed complaints, incidents and significant events recorded by the practice. We saw evidence of how these were used to improve the practice and procedures.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
