The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.
People’s experience
As part of this assessment, we spoke with several people who attended the practice regarding their satisfaction of the practice. We received mixed reviews from people.
We also reviewed the National GP Patient Survey results and a patient survey carried out by the practice. The National GP Patient Survey results showed the practice scored mostly below local and national averages. 68% of respondents described their overall experience of this GP practice as good, compared to a local and national average of 74%. The practice had reviewed and responded to the National GP Patient Survey data and had taken action to make improvements.
We did not see any evidence of suggestions, comments or NHS Friends and Family Test survey responses collected from registered patients. At the time of our assessment the practice did not have a Patient Participation Group.
We reviewed complaints, incidents and significant events recorded by the practice. We saw evidence of how these were used to improve the practice and procedures.
