People’s experience
Two weeks before our inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 7 patients. On the day of our inspection, we reviewed further patient feedback routinely collected by the practice. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Comments included, “I've been a patient at Church Street for over a year now, and I can confidently say this is the best dental experience I've ever had. From the moment you walk in, the reception staff are warm, welcoming, and highly efficient—they always make booking and checking in easy. The dentist is incredibly knowledgeable, gentle, and thorough. He took the time to explain every step of my treatment, made me feel completely at ease, and answered all my questions with patience. The hygienist was also great and gave good advice on improving my at-home care” and “I used this dental practice as I was experiencing excruciating pain in my gums and teeth. My regular dentist was not available for 2 weeks. The dentist was my saviour this day. He was able to see me within 24 hours, provided me with effective and efficient treatment along with future knowledge of how to clean and protect my gums and teeth going forward. I cannot thank him and his team enough. I would highly recommend this dental practice to which I have now moved to. I feel more comfortable and confident when I visit the dentist and will remain a loyal customer here.” Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. Patients told us that when they were prescribed medicines, sufficient information was given. Patients told us that they were supported to maintain their oral health and were provided with appropriate information and resources. The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
