People’s experience
On the day of our inspection, we saw feedback from 21 patients. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Comments included: “Very good experience at the practice over many years.” “Excellent service, explained everything very well.” “Great practice and dentist. They treat people with respect, and they are truly wonderful.” “I am happy with my dentist. I have already recommended them to my family, and they are now patients here.” “I used this practice all my life and wouldn`t go anywhere else.” Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. One patient said, “[The dentist] explains every step of the procedure beforehand, which makes me feel comfortable and in control. Throughout the treatment staff are very kind and patient.” The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.
