What CQC reported

The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People’s experience

We asked the service to share a link with people so they could share their feedback with CQC, and we received 45 responses. The findings were mixed, with some people giving both positive and negative feedback. The positive feedback was mostly about staff performance and the quality of care and treatment. Some people shared that the service responded promptly to their appointment requests, provided efficient treatment, and offered referrals. However, the negative feedback was mostly on poor access, specifically about the long wait for appointments and difficulty getting through the service using the online triage form for appointments. The National GP Patient Survey in 2025 showed the service scored 57% forpeople responding positively on the overall experience of the service, which was below the expected national average of 75%. There was an active Patient Participation Group (PPG), which represented the views of people using the service.Representatives from the PPG described how managers made positive changes because of feedback, such as extending the opening time of the online form to submit medical requests.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
