People’s experience
Two weeks before our inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We reviewed patient feedback we received, and feedback routinely obtained by the practice. Patient feedback provided a generally positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice Patients generally commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. We noted the service was recently renovated and decorated in response to previous patient feedback. Patients stated that they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. Patients said when they were prescribed medicines, sufficient information was given. Not all patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs. A number stated that they had experienced difficulty accessing appointments. A number of comments highlighted difficulties experienced with communication. The provider had responded to this by making improvements to their broadband and telephone systems and recruiting more staff. The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were shown examples of where this was reviewed and appropriate action taken. For example, the service was decorated, additional staff recruited and a new telephone and broadband system installed to improve communication and access to appointments.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
Independent lookup: Check My GP is not affiliated with the CQC, NHS or this provider. Providers cannot pay to change their rating or position. CQC data is reused under the Open Government Licence; GP Patient Survey results are published by NHS England and Ipsos.
