People’s experience
Two weeks before our inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 1 patient. On the day of our inspection, we reviewed patient feedback routinely collected by the practice. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Comments included, “My husband (who for many years has been too scared to go to the dentist) and I have been regular clients of the practice for over 10 years. [Clinician] is brilliant at handling anxious patients, and he is now happy to go. She explains things well, has endless patience, and takes great care to cause as little discomfort as possible. Recently, my 7 year old granddaughter had a very bad experience with another practice and was too frightened to allow a filling to be done. I suggested they try [clinician] and although she made a fuss, the filling was done and she came out smiling. My daughter very much appreciated the advice she received, which was really practical and helpful, more so than any she had received elsewhere. Finally, the quality of the care offered is outstanding.” Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. Patients were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. Patients were supported to maintain their oral health and were provided with appropriate information and resources. The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
