People’s experience

Two weeks before our inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We did not receive any feedback. On the day of our inspection, we spoke with 1 patient. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Comments included, “I cannot speak highly enough about this practice. It is easy to get an appointment, and if it is urgent I am seen quickly. The staff are all very friendly and professional. I have always been made to feel welcome. All treatment options are explained in depth, and I am involved in all decision making. The principal dentist explains things in simple terms in a way that I can understand. The staff are all very personable and the care and passion they show makes all the difference.” The patient commented positively about the standards of cleanliness and felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. The patient told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. The patient said when they were prescribed medicines, sufficient information was given.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
