People’s experience
Prior to our inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 10 patients. On the day of our inspection, we saw patient feedback from a further 23 patients, who had left online reviews within the last 12 months. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Comments included: “Amazing place made me feel so at ease and helped with the problems in my mouth would highly recommend this dentist the best in Swinton by far and such lovely staff including the receptionist staff all wonderful people”. “Excellent reception always go above and beyond and if anyone has any queries, they always help. The receptionist is excellent at her job and always has a smile on her face, which goes a long way if you are nervous. A good, overall dental practice, I have seen three different dentists and a clinician, all of whom are excellent. I recommend this practice to anyone who is looking for a new dentist”. “I've been going to this practice for over 45 years and I can honestly say I've never been let down. From reception to all the dentists I've seen over the years, they have all been totally professional. The care is first class. Notifications are sent digitally and they are very flexible if you need to change. The practice are very aware of one's needs, i.e. if you have any restrictions or disabilities. I would not go anywhere else as I have complete confidence in them”. “The practice never fails to provide Excellent care and always very welcoming give out of 5 for me and my family”. Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. Patients told us that when they were prescribed medicines, sufficient information was given. Patients told us that they were supported to maintain their oral health and were provided with appropriate information and resources. The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.
