People’s experience

Two weeks before our inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 5 patients. On the day of our inspection, we saw patient feedback from a further 13 patients. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Comments included: “Excellent and friendly service.” “Amazing practice clean, professional, friendly and very accommodating.” “[The hygienist] is amazing at her job so is [the dentist]. Always a wonderful experience.” “All of the staff are extremely kind and welcoming, ensuring that I feel relaxed and comfortable at every appointment. The quality of care is excellent and I have never found any faults following an appointment.” Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. “Professional friendly and knowledgeable staff and clean clinic.” Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. “The care is always so good and is always possible to be seen as an emergency.” Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informedchoice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. Excellent service from start to finish. “Good standard of work, fair pricing and staff are fabulous.” Patients said when they were prescribed medicines, sufficient information was given. The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
