People’s experience
Two weeks before our inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 12 patients. On the day of our inspection, we spoke with 1 patient. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Comments included: “I’ve been a patient at the clinic for over 20 years and the level of service has always been consistently extremely high.” “I now know about dental care because during treatment everything is explained- why this is needed, when it will heal and I have been educated about having healthy teeth. [The dentist] is charming, he checks every time how is your general health, are you well and how do you feel your teeth are and how are you managing your dental health. It’s not ever intrusive it’s care of the most excellent and professional and I never want to see anyone else!...” “The treatments that I've received have been excellent. The clinic is incredibly diligent in calling after any major work to check on how I'm feeling and if I'm experiencing any pain.” Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. Patients said when they were prescribed medicines, sufficient information was given. Patients told us that they were supported to maintain their oral health and were provided with appropriate information and resources. The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
