People’s experience

Prior to the inspection we reviewed all feedback shared with us and online patient comments. Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. Comments included: “The facilities are very modern and clean, which makes visits much more comfortable”, “The appointment system is well organized, though it can sometimes be tricky to get through on the phone”, “The practice location is easy to find, and the building has a nice atmosphere”, “Good communication about treatment plans and what to expect." The practice shared this feedback with the team, and we were informed that it was reviewed. Where suggestions had been made, appropriate actions were taken. For example, in response to concerns about difficulties contacting the practice, the telephone system was reviewed, and changes were made to improve the patient experience.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.

Independent lookup: Check My GP is not affiliated with the CQC, NHS or this provider. Providers cannot pay to change their rating or position. CQC data is reused under the Open Government Licence; GP Patient Survey results are published by NHS England and Ipsos.
