Two weeks before our off-site inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received direct feedback from 18 patients. Patients told us that they were happy with the treatments they received, access to appointments and how staff interacted with them We were shown patient feedback, collected by the practice. The majority of patients stated they were either extremely likely or likely to recommend the practice.   We reviewed online patient feedback. Overall, patients expressed high levels of satisfaction with the treatment they received. The practice responded to all online feedback and where concerns were raised, they advised the individual to contact them directly. Comments included: “The dentist was gentle and professional”, “Staff always take time to explain everything”, “I am a very nervous and staff made me feel relaxed.” Some patients commented that appointments were often cancelled and that sometimes reception staff were not always kind or welcoming.

The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.
