People’s experience
On the day of our inspection, we received feedback from patients. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the service. Feedback was consistently positive about the caring, patient-centred approach of the dental team. Patients and carers described staff as friendly, welcoming, and respectful. Particular praise was given to the dentist's ability to communicate effectively with patients who had additional needs, taking time to explain treatment clearly, answer questions, and help patients remain calm. Patients and carers valued that appointments were not rushed, with clinicians providing sufficient time, patience, and support to ensure patients felt comfortable and well cared for. Families of vulnerable patients, including those living with dementia, highlighted the compassionate and respectful treatment they received. Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. Patients said when they were prescribed medicines, sufficient information was given. Patients told us that they were supported to maintain their oral health and were provided with appropriate information and resources. The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
