What CQC reported

The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People’s experience

People were mostly positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results, including the National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people were satisfied with services. Data from the 2026 National GP Survey showed that 75% of respondents were positive about their overall experience of their GP practice. This was comparable with the national average of 77%. The practice collected patient feedback through the Friends and Family Test. They had received 671 replies throughout May, June and July 2026, of which 83.3% described the service as good or very good. The CQC received feedback from 111 patients through our Give Feedback on Care service. Many people were very positive about the service. A recurring theme was that patients felt listened to, respected, and treated with compassion. The most common concern people raised was difficulty accessing GP appointments, including long waits and perceived over reliance on online triage. A patient participation group (PPG) was not in place to represent the views of people using the service. The service told us they had were trying to re-establish this.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
