People’s experience
Two weeks before our onsite assessment, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 22 patients. On the day of our assessment, we received written patient feedback from 2 patients. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. Patients said, “Clean environment and facilities” and “Everything and everywhere in the office is always so clean”.
Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. Any urgent issues have always been responded to and emergency appointments accessible when required” and “Appointments are always available for emergency care. This is an outstanding provision”.
Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. We were told; “Clear pricing provided ahead of appointment. Staged approach to dental problems and not rushing decision making. Good explanations allow patient to make informed decisions”, “All treatments are explained fully before being undertaken and I have the utmost faith in both Dentist and the team” and “My Dentist always takes time over the appointment and explains what is happening and gives me any necessary information in a straightforward manner. Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
Independent lookup: Check My GP is not affiliated with the CQC, NHS or this provider. Providers cannot pay to change their rating or position. CQC data is reused under the Open Government Licence; GP Patient Survey results are published by NHS England and Ipsos.
