People’s experience
Prior to our inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 14 patients. On the day of our inspection, we spoke with and saw patient feedback from a further 50 patients. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Comments included: “Dentists that take pride in their work and always provide excellent care and very friendly staff! Highly recommend Victoria dental.” “An extremely professional and patient-centred service.” “We have always found the practice including the admin to be of the highest standard. Our care has been exemplary and when we have needed advice or reassurance either at home or abroad the staff have always been there for us.” “Wouldn't go anywhere else, all staff from receptionist to hygienist are brilliant, they make a stressful visit stress free.” “They give excellent advice, take care of their patients and do not treat you as a number but as a person.” “The practice still is and always has been excellent. The Dentists and assistants have always been very good and the treatment given is first class. The appointments system, reminders and reception staff are also very good.” Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. Patients told us that when they were prescribed medicines, sufficient information was given. Patients told us that they were supported to maintain their oral health and were provided with appropriate information and resources. The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
