People’s experience
Two weeks before our inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We reviewed patient feedback we received, and feedback routinely obtained by the practice. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Many comments included how “friendly” and “efficient” the staff were, explaining how staff listened to concerns and describing the experience as personable, “excellent” and “first class.” Some patients explained how good staff were at reducing their anxiety, “I was terrified of the dentist and hadn't been in a long time. Thanks to [the Dentist] I'm no longer terrified and while getting treatments is never going to be fun, it's the best I can imagine it can ever be”. Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness, with feedback directly referring to “clean facilities” and clean treatment rooms. Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. A patient said, “Always get me in when I need urgent appointments.” Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs, “I always feel everything is explained and all my questions and queries are answered.” Patients were involved in decisions about their care, “Personally, my dentist has always given me sound and professional advice allowing me to feel in control of my own care”. Patients said when they were prescribed medicines, sufficient information was given. Patients told us that they were supported to maintain their oral health and were provided with appropriate information and resources, “The hygienists are thorough and give good advice” and “Treatment given was excellent, checked I was comfortable often and aftercare explained well.”
The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
