People’s experience
We saw patient feedback from 20 patients, who had completed paper feedback forms prior to the inspection day. On the day of our inspection, we saw patient feedback from a further 23 patients, who had left online reviews. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Comments included: “Very happy with [the dentist] and all at the practice. Wouldn’t change anything.” “[the dentist] is superb, an excellent communicator, he is kind and respectful and is committed to expressing risk whilst simultaneously respecting patient wishes. I am glad to be his patient. Practice staff are also lovely.” “Staff are very welcoming and informative and polite. [the dentist] informs me of any treatment plan, cost of any treatments I may need and is very informative explaining everything to me.” “Great staff and service. Always a good experience.” Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. Patients said when they were prescribed medicines, sufficient information was given. Patients told us that they were supported to maintain their oral health and were provided with appropriate information and resources. The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
