People’s experience
We asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us ahead of our inspection. We received feedback from 19 patients. On the day of our inspection, we spoke with and saw patient feedback from a further 26 patients. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Comments included, “Always pleasant and polite service from receptionists and dental team. Been here for years and service is still good. I am very happy with Mount Dental Practice and wouldn't think of going elsewhere,” and “100% professional and fantastic service at Mount Dental Practice, would recommend to anyone.” Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. One patient said, “The dentist always explains what treatment is needed (or not) which is good for patient/dentist relationship giving confidence in the practice.” Patients said when they were prescribed medicines, sufficient information was given. Patients told us that they were supported to maintain their oral health and were provided with appropriate information and resources. One patient told us, “Staff are always polite, explain everything, always happy to help, and the dentists are very professional, very helpful, and give you tips and explain everything well.” The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
Independent lookup: Check My GP is not affiliated with the CQC, NHS or this provider. Providers cannot pay to change their rating or position. CQC data is reused under the Open Government Licence; GP Patient Survey results are published by NHS England and Ipsos.
