People’s experience
Two weeks before our inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 2 patients. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. In addition, we saw feedback collected by the practice between March and May 2026. Overall patient feedback remained consistently positive. Patients praised the practice for its friendly, caring and professional team, describing staff as “Cheerful and skilled” and “Very friendly and helpful.” Many patients highlighted the kindness and reassurance provided during appointments. Comments included, “Always friendly and listens carefully” and “Just puts you at ease when someone is kind.” Those experiencing anxiety or nervousness felt particularly well supported. One patient commented, “I’m a very nervous patient and even though it was only a check-up he explained exactly what he was doing,” while another noted, “The lady was very calming and spoke softly.” Parents also praised staff for their patience with children, with a patient noting clinicians had “lots of patience with my reluctant 5-year-old.” Communication and information sharing were frequently highlighted as strengths. Patients reported that clinicians “Made clear the options and costs” and “Explained everything and prescribed some toothpaste as a preventative treatment.” Clinical care and professionalism were also praised. Patients stated, “My dentist scaled my teeth so well it brought my smile back” and “I feel confident in her work and advice.” Patients also valued the efficiency of appointments and the overall experience, commenting that they were “Very quick to see me” and received “Efficient, on time, friendly and gentle treatment.” Some lower-scoring themes related to waiting times, punctuality and occasional difficulties accessing appointments. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions or concerns were raised, appropriate action would be taken. The practice shared patient feedback with the team.
