People’s experience
People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results, including from the National GP Patient Survey for 2025 showed mixed but generally positive patient feedback. For instance, 95%had confidence and trust in the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to during their last general practice, compared with local and national averages of 94% and 93%. In addition, 72% described their experience of contacting their GP practice as good, compared with local and national averages of 75% and 70%, respectively. Feedback received by Care Quality Commission (CQC) through the give feedback on care experience online forms was generally positive, with 225 patient responses submitted during the week before and the week of the inspection. Overall, patients reported satisfaction with the quality of clinical care, the professionalism of staff, and the responsiveness of the practice. Patients described the service as “good and efficient” and staff as “caring and thorough”. However, feedback regarding access to appointments was mixed. While some patients told us the appointment system was effective and responsive, others reported difficulties with access, administrative processes, and communication. There was an active patient participation group (PPG). Representatives from the PPG described how managers made positive changes because of feedback, such as the reintroduction of text reminders, which had previously been stopped.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
