People’s experience

Two weeks before our visit, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We did not receive feedback from patients. We reviewed patient feedback gathered by the practice and online feedback. This feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Comments included: ‘staff were warm, friendly and supportive’, ‘Calming atmosphere’, ‘staff made me feel very much at ease’. Patients were confident that the practice was clean and hygienic. Patients said that they were treated as an individual and that staff took time to understand their needs. They said their confidentiality was always preserved.

Patients felt involved in decisions about their care. They said that treatment options were explained to them in a way that they could understand and they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs.

Patients were supported to maintain their oral health and were provided with appropriate information that they could understand around their oral care.

Patients said the cost of their treatments was always explained and they felt their treatment was good value for money.

At the time of our assessment, the patients felt there were enough staff working at the practice. They were able to book appointments when needed.

Patients could access care and treatment from the practice within an acceptable timescale for their needs. They had enough time during their appointment and did not feel rushed.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.

Independent lookup: Check My GP is not affiliated with the CQC, NHS or this provider. Providers cannot pay to change their rating or position. CQC data is reused under the Open Government Licence; GP Patient Survey results are published by NHS England and Ipsos.
