People’s experience
We spoke to two patients and reviewed patient feedback from surveys carried out by staff. We received positive feedback about the service.
Patients consistently said they felt like “equal” partners and that they were at the centre of their treatment. They felt safe and well supported by the service. They consistently used kind, empathic and knowledgeable to describe staff.
Patients said they were treated as an individual and felt “heard,” and that care and treatment was very personalised. They valued the understanding of their condition they gained from the assessment process and understood the care and treatment options available. They said care was holistic and individualised and they could ask questions which were answered.
Patients said the service worked effectively with other services and they were supported to move to shared care when this was available and what they wanted.
