What CQC reported
Resilience Medicines is a private independent health clinic that provides medical treatment to both adults and children focused on the use of Cannabis-based products for medicinal (CBPMs) use. The medicines are prescribed by experienced medical staff working within the latest governmental guidelines. The clinic is registered with the Care Quality Commission under the Health and Social Care Act 2008 to provide regulated activities of treatment of disease, disorder or injury. At this assessment we included 19 quality statements within the Safe, Effective and Well-led key questions and found the clinic were operating without any concerns. We rated the practice as good in all key questions we examined. During our assessment, we saw the service had a safe learning culture with necessary arrangements to keep staff and patients safe. We found an effective systems and processes in place to ensure safe care and treatment was provided to the clinic population. We also found effective governance and risk management systems in place to oversee the clinical and non-clinical aspects of the service.
People’s experience
The service collated patient feedback to review the quality of care provided. Feedback showed the patients felt involved in the assessment of their needs and were confident their needs were appropriately assessed and fully understood.
