People’s experience

Two weeks before our inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 4 patients. On the day of our inspection, we spoke with and saw patient feedback from a further 10 patients. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Comments included: “Very helpful and kept me informed about my treat at all times reassured me as they knew I was nervous. The room was calming and clean”. “Great dentist. Very helpful and pleasant. Always good advice and first-class treatment”. “This is the nicest and most caring dentist I have ever attended. My teeth have never felt so nice”. “Very friendly and helpful receptionists and great dentists”. “The dentist is excellent. Calm and friendly and always gives a clear explanation of what she is doing. Today an x-ray showed that I require treatment. I was shown the x-ray so that I could see the problem area. Options were discussed and I was then given info on where I would be referred for the treatment”. Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. Patients told us that when they were prescribed medicines, sufficient information was given. Patients told us that they were supported to maintain their oral health and were provided with appropriate information and resources. The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
