People’s experience
The provider encouraged and used feedback from people who used the service to make improvements. Feedback we reviewed showed that patient experience of the service was mixed. The results of the National GP Patient Survey were sometimes lower than local and national average scores for patient satisfaction regarding access but the practice had made improvements to their appointment and booking system because of this. Patient satisfaction was more positive once the person had received an appointment. The results showed that patients felt positive about their overall experience of the service; patients felt listened to, treated with care and concern, involved in decisions about their care and treatment, and had confidence and trust in the healthcare professionals. Recent results from the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people were positive about their experience of the service with 100% of patients saying they would recommend the practice. They had a Patient Participation Group (PPG) that was run by the PCN.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
