The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People’s experience

People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results, including from the recent 2026 National GP Patient Survey showed people were satisfied with services with almost all results above the local and national averages. For example, 89% of responders to the survey reported a good overall experience of the service compared with a local average of 79% and a national average of 77%. There was an active patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. Representatives from the PPG told us how leaders made positive changes because of feedback, such as, taking action to place a television screen in the waiting room to display information about the service. We asked the service to distribute a link allowing people to provide feedback directly to the CQC, and we received 79 positive feedback comments from people. Comments included praise for the care and treatment received, the concern and kindness from staff and ability to get an appointment. We also received 12 comments of information of concern which included issues around obtaining an appointment, prescriptions and the care and treatment received.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
