People’s experience

Two weeks before our visit, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 5 patients. Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness.

Patients were satisfied with the standard of dental treatments they received and they would recommend the practice. At the time of our assessment, the patients were able to book appointments when needed. Patients said they had confidence in the dental team.

Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs.

Patients felt they were involved in decisions about their care and had the opportunity to discuss this with their dentist.

Patients said that they were supported to maintain their oral health.

Patients commented that they felt they were treated with respect and dignity.

We reviewed online patient feedback. Patients expressed high levels of satisfaction with the treatment they received. Comments included: ‘Helpful and friendly staff’, ‘Attentive and professional dentist’ and ‘Made to feel at ease and comfortable’.

Staff demonstrated a commitment to acting on feedback. The practice shared patient feedback with the team. Patient feedback was analysed and a summary of findings and actions taken to improve patients experience were displayed in the waiting area.
