What CQC reported
The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.
People’s experience
We spoke with 6 patients and one stakeholder. Overall feedback was very positive. Patients told us the service had changed their lives and outlook for the future giving them hope and developing skills to manage their trauma. Patients told us they were partners in their care and felt safe. They reported being involved in their care and treatment, being treated with compassion and kindness. Their feedback was consistently positive, and they described staff as supportive, compassionate, responsive and respectful. They said they felt able to speak openly and honestly with staff. Comments we received included ‘They changed my life. PTSD has reduced and I’m feeling much better’, ‘They helped me a lot with my pain, I’m much better. I really appreciate everything they have done’ and ‘I’m so happy, I have dealt with a lot of things. The staff are non-judgemental’. Feedback from the stakeholder was very positive. They described the service as being ‘holistic, person centred, kind, compassionate and working in collaboration with patients and other partner agencies.’
