People’s experience

Two weeks before our visit, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 13 patients. Staff gathered feedback from patients, the public and external partners and demonstrated a commitment to acting on feedback. Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. Patients told us that when they were dispensed medicines, sufficient information was given. We reviewed online patient feedback. Patients expressed high levels of satisfaction with the overall service they received. Comments included that treatment was: ‘Exceptional’ and ‘Outstanding’. They commented that staff took time to explain treatments and procedures, were kind and friendly. Patients said that the staff team helped to put them at ease when they were nervous or anxious.

The practice shared patient feedback with the team and used this to make changes to help improve patients’ experiences.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.

Independent lookup: Check My GP is not affiliated with the CQC, NHS or this provider. Providers cannot pay to change their rating or position. CQC data is reused under the Open Government Licence; GP Patient Survey results are published by NHS England and Ipsos.
