Assessment dated 15 October 2025. Published 13 May 2026.

What CQC reported

The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

People’s experience

People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment they received. During our assessment, people who gave feedback via the service’s Friends and Family Test (FFT) were largely positive and met or exceeded expected standards. For example, in December 2025, the service received 743 feedback responses which identified 89% would recommend the service and thought the service was positive. The service regularly reviewed feedback from people who used the service, identifying themes and trends where possible during monthly meetings. The service received 25 feedback responses from 100 surveys in October 2025 in relation to the 2 dispensaries based at Maiden Newton site and Tunnel Road site. All demonstrated positive outcomes relating to timely access to prescriptions as well as satisfaction with the renovated reception and waiting area at the Maiden Newton site. Results from the National GP Patient Survey 2025 showed people described their overall experience of receiving person-centred care as positive. In particular, results showed clinicians listened to people’s concerns and acted with compassion, of which these indicators were above local and national averages.

Evidence, not a league table.

CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.

Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
